Great Galway

So I’ve returned to the city of the tribes in search of an aboad for the forthcoming academic challenges this term. The place is buzzing with traffic and life as the world famous Galway Arts Festival is well under way. The Macnas van has been spotted in various locations and street-performances out-number the shops on Shop Street. Add to that the fanatical flurry of Potter-mania as the penultimate installation of the series went on sale last night.

Galway is looking better than ever. And considering its record for rainfall, it’s great to see temperatures soar to the mid-twenties!
